To educate and promote, Diversity Awareness, Cultural, Social , Academic and Athletic enrichment of our youth through community activities geared towards real life preparation.
The HAYGD has been dedicated to fostering values of self-discipline, loyalty, commitment and teamwork. Tolerance and acceptance of all positive paths shall be the foundation upon which all activities and actions of HAYGD and it's officers shall be based.
HAYGD has been selected to perform at the 500th Anniversary Celebration of the discovery of Florida by Juan Ponce de Leon. Guest of this event will be the Queen and King of Spain. On May 2, 2010, HAYGD auditioned in Melbourne for this event and was selected by judges as the Multi Cultural Folkloric Youth Group for the authencity and diversity of their folkloric dances.
